These little baby pinecones were scavanged from norther alberta. Throughout the span of recorded human history, Pinecones have served as a symbolic representation of Human Enlightenment, the Third Eye and the Pineal Gland. The Pinecone is the evolutionary precursor to the flower, and its spines spiral in a perfect Fibonacci sequence in either direction, much like the Sacred Geometry of a rose or a sunflower.

Using a process called Electroforming, I plate copper on crystals creating really unique pieces. The chains I use are copper as well, each joint being soldered to ensure that they will not break without some serious effort. On top of being so earthy and organic looking, copper has been used for health benefits for many years. Through the process of mineral absorption, when combined with sweat from the skin they are absorbed in the appropriate quantities into the bloodstream. Known to alleviate joint stiffness, increase cardiovascular health, boost the immune system, and even assist in anti-ageing.
